Hey, I'm Steph! Born and raised in Chattanooga, I first became a tour guide while studying abroad in Amsterdam in 2006-2007 where I led three-hour walking tours of the city. My love of this experience led me to pursue a degree in tourism and I've since worked in Shanghai, London, and most recently, Mumbai where I ran and developed tours for a tour company that reached 20,000+ customers a year.
However, my love of the far-flung cities I've adopted along the way couldn't compare to my love for her hometown, and I was ultimately drawn back to Chattanooga in 2015.
While traveling on the way back home, I noticed free walking tours were absolutely everywhere, no matter how small the city. It seemed silly that this concept didn't yet exist in Chattanooga, a place full of people proud and passionate about their city.
I'm eager to help visitors, those new to the city, and even locals appreciate Chattanooga and believes that everyone should have access to a fun, informative tour.
My name is Kat Cantelou and I love this city! I teach 2nd grade during the day and when I’m not teaching I’m exploring Chattanooga. I love to read, take pictures, and travel. I’m excited to show you this wonderful place that I get to call home!
This could be you!
